The trapper village to Val Cenis

Situated at the top of the 6 man La Ramasse chairlift at over 2000m altitude and accessible from there by foot .

The trapper camp is a traditional nordic-style base of heated tents where sled dogs are kept and reared. Throughout the winter, whatever the weather, there will be a musher and his dogs, ready to facilitate your "adventure", whether it be a general introduction to "mushing" or trekking for several days. Open to all is a Discovery Experience, lasting 30 minutes.

Themed walks

2 paths, situated in the skiing area of Val Cenis, have been laid out especially for walkers and snowshoers.
They are easy to reach and well-marked and secured, providing an enjoyable way for walkers of all levels to explore the region.
• The “Flora and Fauna” route – from the top station of the Val Cenis Le Haut cable car
• The “History and Inheritance” route – from the top station of the La Ramasse chairlift

Tariff : free for the under 5s and thereafter 4,50€ / 7€ for the over 5s.

Swimming pool

Pool with a 25 metre pool and a recreational pool, with Jacuzzi, slide, floats, aqua toys,….
Open daily (except Saturdays) from 15.30 – 20.00
Every Tuesday and Thursday until 21.30.

Compulsory application at Maisons de Val Cenis on the eve of the visit at the latest.

Baroque center

A reference centre situated in the old village church, the Baroque Centre gives an understanding of the meaning and originality of Baroque art, Savoyard style. Temporary exhibitions of the inheritance, history and traditional way of life of the valley. Open from Christmas to the end of April.
Individual visits or guided visits, led by Ministry of Culture approved guides.

12 restored and specially fitted out chapels bear witness to 5000 years of history. Each one specialises in a period or theme, tracing the development of the valley community.
The idea is straightforward – you have a large key in your hand and some tokens in your pocket – your magical passport to a cultural trail to follow at your own pace, whether on foot, snowshoe or ski.
