Treat yourself to a trip around Lake Mont Cenis. Take the time for a total immersion between passes and balconies. Fabulous viewpoints await you! Your 2nd stage will be spiced up by a tricky passage (handrail with no technical difficulty).

Description

We recommend an early start to reach your maximum altitude at the Col de Sollières. At an altitude of 2640m, the short-grass meadows are decked out in their most beautiful colors in early summer. You'll need to be discreet if you're looking for lady marmot near her burrow. At 3162m, the Signal du Petit Mont-Cenis towers above you. At its foot, your descent takes on the air of an alpine hike to the gentle slopes of the small Lac de Sollières. You're now in a more intimate mountain setting, on the edge of the Montfroid woods. Perhaps you'll hear chickadees singing and green woodpeckers snapping their beaks on the trunks of spruce and fir trees? This short rest gives way to a final ascent to the Petite Turra, which holds many surprises in store. What's that fort overlooking your path? Take the time to make a detour there to appreciate the intoxicating panorama. Carefully round off your route with an equipped handrail that is not technically difficult.
