Have you ever tried dog sledding in the winter? The concept is simple. Equipped with a bungee cord attached to the dog’s harness, you set off on a guided hike with a sled dog. It’s a great way to experience what it’s like to be a musher, alongside our team of Alaskan huskies and other breeds. A chance to learn more about them! You’ll appreciate the strong bond that forms with the dog during the ride, when sharing and teamwork with your companion will be key. Don’t worry—the physical effort isn’t too intense, as the dog will adjust its pace to yours. What’s more, the dog will be a great help when the going gets tough, and will make the walk more fun for children.
This is a very popular activity with children, who can cuddle and pet the dog during the outing. However, younger children (ages 7 to 10 inclusive, and weighing less than 30–35 kg) must be accompanied by an older child or an adult.
