Festival c'est l'printemps à Val Cenis

March 21 to 24, 2024
Laurent Gerra Auditorium - Val Cenis-Lanslebourg

When winter gradually gives way to spring, Haute Maurienne Vanoise is the place to be.
At the Laurent Gerra auditorium, during the 4 days of the festival, every evening culture invites itself with artists from all horizons.
Shows, laughter, tears, emotions... At Val Cenis, there's no season for laughter and conviviality!
Laurent Gerra, the festival's master of ceremonies, knows that after a good day's skiing, nothing beats a good show with friends!

"A story of friends

Laurent Gerra, artistic director of the festival

"The "C'est l'Printemps" festival at Val Cenis is above all a story of friends. It's also a Festival that offers real diversity: from Pierre Perret to Bernard Lavilliers, via Jean-Pierre Marielle, who came to read erotic letters in 2015, or Renaud Capuçon in 2022 for a superb concert entitled "Un violon à Paris", the festival has not focused on any particular theme or style. Humor, live TV shows, rock or classical concerts... it's all very varied, and that's one of the strengths of this festival. But there's one common thread: friendship and talent. I open my address book and invite artists I know and admire. When I tell them about the C'est l'printemps festival at Val Cenis, a lot of artists want to take part. And once they've come... they want to come back!

Antoine Duléry

Antoine Duléry is back in the movies again

Antoine Duléry, a popular actor in television, film and theater, enjoys imitating the people he loves: Belmondo, Serrault, Lucchini, Galabru, Jouvet, Delon and Johnny.

Antoine Duléry is at a party with some actor friends, and even though he repeats every five minutes that he has to leave, he can't. Because leaving means leaving the audience and, above all, forgetting his family. Leaving means leaving the audience and, above all, forgetting his family. And Antoine Duléry doesn't forget, nor does he want to. He remembers his majestic fathers: the great actors of the past, but also his accomplices of today.

A memory leads to an anecdote, and from disgressions to bon mots, Antoine Duléry mixes and matches the real and imaginary with great virtuosity and rhythm.
Delon meets De Niro, Lucchini poetizes with Jouvet, Galabru dialogues with Serrault... These improbable encounters give rise to jubilant situations, full of tenderness and admiration.

An excellent show, like a huge declaration of love, directed by Pascal Serieis.

Laurent Gerra's opinion:

"Antoine is a buddy, almost like family! I've known him for a long time, we even made a film together. He presents us with an imitation show featuring stories he's lived, people he's met... I love it when he does Claude Rich or Daniel Prevost, he's really very funny."

Alex Vizorek

AD VITAM

Alex Vizorek is a virtuoso when it comes to jokes, on radio, TV and in the one-man show - you've probably already seen or heard him somewhere!

Alex Vizorek brings us his new show "AD VITAM", a show about death in which the discourse is elegant, never vulgar. Starting from the premise that death could concern quite a few people, he draws on philosophy, biology and culture, not forgetting the orgasm known as "la petite mort".

Talking about death while talking about life: a major challenge for the Belgian comedian who is not particularly worried about death, but who allows himself to talk about it, given that it's going to happen to him as much as to anyone else! A unique show based on the spoken word, imbued with absurdity, black humor and tenderness towards the human race.

The show ends with his hilarious eulogy, written by the man who knows him best , "that's me", and you leave the theater with a furious desire to live.

Laurent Gerra's opinion:

"Alex and I bump into each other almost every day, and of course we're colleagues at RTL. I discovered his show at his home in Belgium. And just as well, he's coming to present it to us at Val Cenis during the Belgian school vacations. He's very talented and makes me laugh a lot. And to make matters worse, he's a very, very nice guy.

C'est l'printemps à Val Cenis : Pierre Richard, je suis là mais je ne suis pas là !

Pierre Richard

I'm here, but I'm not here!
Written and starring Pierre Richard and Christophe Duthuron and directed by Christophe Duthuron

Eternal bungler, false distracter, tender clown, Pierre Richard's new show invites us to experience a privileged moment in which he shares his passionate and passionate life with an open heart.

"Perhaps the phrase I've heard most often, apart from "Hello, how are you?", "Cheers" or "Sorry, but you're stepping on my foot", is this: "Are you as distracted in life as you are in your films?".

I've been trying for fifty years to answer "No, not at all", but I guess I'm preaching to the choir, because the question keeps coming up. That's why I've just made a big decision: enough is enough.

I'm not afraid to say that, with this show, I intend to prove irrefutably and definitively that I'm not distracted, to bend the necks of bad tongues - which, incidentally, is an anatomical tour de force - and, in short, to finally put an end to half a century of misunderstanding."

Pierre Richard

Laurent Gerra's opinion:

"I'm really delighted to have Pierre Richard with us this year. I discovered his show in Montreal. Because while he's very well known in France, he's also very popular outside our borders. With his sharp sense of humor and his anecdotes, he's truly a knockout. It's a great opportunity and a great pleasure to welcome him to Val Cenis. And he'll also be representing cinema, an art form that's very close to my heart.

Louis Chedid and Yvan Cassar

In black and white

Louis Chedid, composer, author and performer, invited Yvan Cassar to revisit his rich repertoire.

Yvan Cassar, pianist, conductor and arranger of genius, has worked with artists as diverse as Johny Halliday, Claude Nougaro, Mylène Farmer, Roberto Alagna and Charles Aznavour.

"I tend to compose my songs on the guitar," says Louis Chedid, "and the idea of hearing them arranged on the piano by such a virtuoso immediately appealed to me. I'm a complete autodidact, and he, in addition to the way he plays his instrument and arranges the songs, is a peerless technician totally open to the world of composers".

On stage, the original set design around pianos and totally new arrangements provide emotions to match the interpretation of this great singer of French chanson.
From "Ainsi soit-il" to "Les absents ont toujours tort", the songs balance on the edge of emotion. Intense and light, as if for the first time.

A beautiful evening that's good for the heart and the ears!

Laurent Gerra's opinion:

" I really wanted to bring Louis Chedid to Val Cenis. He was no longer on tour, but he agreed to come for us. It's quite simple, Louis, he's done nothing but hits! As for Yvan Cassar, who worked with Johnny and has also accompanied me, it's an honor to welcome him.
