Between France and Italy, the Mont-Cenis plateau stretches to an altitude of 2,000 meters. This exceptional site offers a breathtaking panorama, with its immense turquoise lake, unspoilt mountain pastures, ancient French and Italian forts and peaks rising to over 3,000 metres.

Route du Mont Cenis closed since November 12, 2024
In winter, the access road to the Mont Cenis pass is closed to traffic. It is transformed into a ski run: L'Escargot, Europe's longest green ski run at 11km.
Normally, the road to the Mont Cenis pass is closed from the 2nd Friday in November. For the 24-25 season, the road has been closed since November 12, 2024.
Scheduled to reopen to vehicular traffic on 2ᵉ Friday in May.
