Val Cenis ski resort
Between the Vanoise National Park and Italy, Val Cenis offers a variety of slopes from 1300 to 2800 m. Its recent ski lifts, its play areas and its breathtaking view of the Mont Cenis lake make it a playground for the whole family.
Description
* The summit of the ski area is accessible to everyone, even beginners. From the top of the Met chairlift at 2,800 meters, the Nunda blue run offers an easy descent.
Environment
* The Val Cenis ski area is proud of its environment and is committed to protecting it. To that end, it has undertaken to establish an environmental observatory to catalog the flora and fauna that make up its ecosystem and to plan future mountain development initiatives.
* In the Val Cenis-Termignon area, two chairlifts installed in 2024 and 2026 were built using recycled materials. Seats, stations, towers, counterweights, and electrical equipment from old chairlifts were recovered and reused. Results of these circular economy projects: 10 times less material produced and half the greenhouse gas emissions. All without
compromising safety or reliability, while reducing ride times.
* Off-piste areas, marked on the trail map, are also given special attention to protect the youngest trees—hidden beneath the snow—which could be damaged by skiers passing over them. Measures to protect mountain birds such as the black grouse and the bearded vulture are also being implemented.
Accessibility and Comfort
* Without a car, travel from one village to another using the Val Cenis shuttle from Termignon to Lanslevillard OR the ski bus between Val Cenis, Bramans, and Bonneval-sur-Arc via Sollières, Termignon, Lanslebourg, Lanslevillard, and Bessans.
* 6 ski-in/ski-out access points: Termignon (La Girarde chairlift), Lanslebourg (La Ramasse chairlift), Les Champs (Pré Novel chairlift), Lanslevillard (Vieux Moulin gondola, La Colomba chairlift, and Val Cenis-le-Haut gondola).
* 8 lifts accessible to pedestrians
* Free parking near ticket offices
* Picnic areas and lunchrooms available throughout the ski area
Ski & Fun
* Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fun runs: Meet the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and all your favorite Disney characters in Val Cenis on two child-friendly courses featuring banked turns, moguls, and figurines...so you can learn to ski while having fun!
* Timed run: Measure your speed just like the real champions of the flying kilometer. Intermediate to advanced skiers.
* Boardercross: a fun course offering various difficulty levels to tackle alone or with friends—take on the banked turns and whoops!
* Snowpark: one line for advanced skiers and one line accessible to everyone.
* Easypark: a family-friendly, accessible version of the snowpark to discover freestyle: boxes, rails, mini tables, and more.
