Enduro MTB: La Crosta Brava via the Mont-Cenis pass
Enjoy the beautiful scenery, the Mont-Cenis lake, the surrounding peaks, and the small plateau in the middle of the peaks that precedes the Petit Mont-Cenis pass.
Description
A first part which is to be considered as a connection from the technical point of view. By the way you can stop for a drink or a snack at the Petit Mont Cenis refuge, it is located 300m away from the route. The rest is quite different, you are in Hannibal's footsteps. The warrior would have passed through this pass with his army perched on pachyderms. A statue erected in Val Cenis Bramans suggests the memory of this invasion. Hannibal, the character name alone gives you the mood. A few hairpin bends and a lot of big stones will require your full attention, but it works, apply yourself. After the Suffet refuge, the course is more fun, there are even a few pedal strokes to give to overcome very slight bumps and then you can relax. Stay focused on driving and have fun with the terrain on these playful trails that lead you to Val Cenis Bramans.
Why this name? You will pass on the route known as La Crosta and honestly you have to be brave to go there!

Location
Start of the trail at the Col du Mont-Cenis.
I'm going by car: park in the parking lot at the Col.
Departure from the Val Cenis ski lifts in summer from Lanslevillard: you will then have to cross over on a flat slightly downhill slope for about 3.8 km, then climb the road towards the Col du Mont Cenis for 300m.
To get there by bus: line S52/53 - Télécabine du Vieux Moulin stop (in summer, the bus is equipped with a bicycle trailer - ask about days and times).
By car: park in the parking lot opposite the gondola.
You can also take the enduro ascent to the starting point.
