Description

La Canopée des Cîmes (mountaintop canopy) is a suspension lookout located on the very summit of Val Cenis (2 800meters / 9186,352 feet) which can host 15 to 20 people simultaneously.
Formerly everybody arriving with the chairlift used to reach the mountain edge in order to appreciate the open landscape onto the Mont Cenis lake and Franco-Italian mountains.
This unusual and genuine architectural platform allows people to move safely forward above the air and appreciate the outstanding surrounding landscape.

Rates

Free access. Winter: accessible via the Met chairlift for holders of a valid ski pass. Not accessible to pedestrians.
Summer: accessible via the Vieux Moulin gondola and Solert chairlift, followed by a 30-minute walk for valid ski pass holders.
Free access for hikers.

Opening period

From 05/07 to 27/08 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday between 10 am and 4 pm.
