Via ferrata of Pichet

Fun via ferrata above Lanslevillard, AD/PD difficulty, suitable for children over 1.20m. The AD section, with its steep start and inverted ladder, can be avoided by following a path to the right. Time approx. 2 hrs.

Description

Path, 9 m ladder, traverse to the foot of a slab, climb the slab, second traverse to a footbridge, then return via a path.
The ladder section can be avoided by following a signposted path.

Located under the Pichet cliff, on the left as you leave Val Cenis Lanslevillard on the RD 902 towards Bessans.
From the Val Cenis le Haut parking lot, walk along the dirt track to the start of the Via Ferrata.
Access time: 15 mins.
Route: approx. 1h30.
Return time 15 mins.
Exposure: sunny south.

Professional supervision recommended.
The via Ferrata is forbidden to minors not accompanied by an experienced adult.
