Via ferrata of the Col de la Madeleine
Original via-cordata transformed into a fun and accessible via ferrata by adding a continuous lifeline. It is located on the old road that leads to the Madeleine pass, in the direction of Bessans. Level AD.
Description
It is a climbing route equipped with additional climbing aids and belaying elements.
Rope progression and knowledge of rope techniques are compulsory (length required: 25 to 30 m).
This is due to the sunny side of the valley, generally simple side passages with a few steep passages. Smooth on a trajectory above the road in the opposite direction.
Approach: 10 minutes
Via ferrata: 1h to 1h30
Return: 20 minutes
