Val-Cenis
© Enduro MTB: A La Ramasse_Val-Cenis - CCHMV

There is no reason for you to be at La Ramasse on this route which is a small digest of easy DH and mountain trails

Description

Sometimes set up to be fun or old, the route is a playground! Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned endurist! The departure from the Mont Cenis pass or from the Val Cenis ski lifts offers a plunging view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. The trail is easy and winds through an alpine pasture, the continuation in the forest will require a little more attention. You will certainly be more inclined to focus on the pleasure of driving!

Location

The trail starts at Col du Mont-Cenis

However, you can also start from the Val Cenis in summer (July and August):
- Val Cenis : you will then have to follow a flat, slightly downhill path for about 3.8 km, then climb the road toward Col du Mont-Cenis for 300 m.
- Val Cenis : you’ll have to cross over on a trail for about 6 km; this adds 150 m of elevation gain and 160 m of elevation loss.

I’m taking the bus: to get to the lift stations only: line S52/S53 – Mairie / Maison de la Vanoise stop for Val Cenis – Télécabine du Vieux Moulin stop for Val Cenis .

Option to reach the start via an enduro ascent.

Animals

Pets allowed : Yes

Pets allowed with supplement : No

Dogs on a leash are allowed on the trail, but are not recommended for mountain biking. Pets are not allowed on the lift.
