Theater - The Invitation
Check out *L'invitation* starring Frédéric Chau, Clara Huet, and Guy Lecluyse. A hilarious comedy, a thrilling game of manipulation, and a subtle critique of pretense and the quirks of relationships.
Description
Daniel is a married man who longs for a little freedom. To take a breather without feeling guilty, he invents an imaginary friend, Charlie, whom he claims to visit regularly.
But when his wife insists on meeting this so-called Charlie… Daniel finds himself caught in his own trap. He hires a stranger—a lost soul who’s unpredictable and way too comfortable—to play the part.
Except that Charlie quickly takes control of the lie… until everything comes crashing down.
