There are 5 short films to watch:
--> Replacements - By Jonathan Hagard (12 min - Japan - Indonesia - Germany)
Replacements depicts a Javanese family watching their neighborhood transform day after day, generation after generation, transition after transition. A virtual reality experience exploring roots, time, and change.
--> Star Dancer - By Chloé Rochereuil (11 min - France)
Hugo Marchand is the youngest principal dancer at the Paris Opera. From grueling rehearsals in the century-old studios of the Garnier to opening night at the Bastille, follow him exclusively behind the scenes at the prestigious opera house.
--> Living Along the Equator - By Nicolas Jolliet (12 min - France - Canada)
In Southeast Asia, the “Banjau Laut” have lived on the water for millennia. These nomads of the seas have renounced life on dry land. Drifting with the wind and the tides, they seek out the most fish-rich waters. The concept of borders is foreign to them, and this way of life is no longer compatible with the modern world.
--> 1st Step - By Jonathan Griffith (16 min - Germany)
As you climb up the smoking rocket, take a look inside the narrow capsule of the command module. Experience the impressive launch of the historic Apollo 17 mission and their return from a new perspective.
--> The Soloist - By Jonathan Griffith (2.*30 min - United States)
Climbing without ropes or harnesses?! Welcome to the world of freesolo! Join Alex Honnold, the world’s greatest free solo climber, on a solo journey across some of the highest peaks in the United States and Europe, pushing the limits of climbing and human achievement.
