The Hannibal bivouac is a brand new refuge (2014) for hikers, installed at Col Clapier at 2,477 m altitude.
Can accommodate up to 8 hikers in autonomy, remember to take your equipment and meals. Refuge not kept.
Description
It is located along the route taken by Hannibal during his crossing of the Alps. Its contemporary architecture stands in stark contrast to traditional mountain huts, which is sure to surprise many visitors.
A place made all the more incredible by the breathtaking view of Italy through a large window and the promise of an incredible starry sky once night falls, to be admired from your bunk thanks to the skylight.
Family-friendly bivouac accessible from Petit Mont Cenis via an easy trail.
