Refuge de la Leisse
Perched at 2487 m, this refuge of the Vanoise National Park is located in the heart of the park on the route of the GR55 and the Via Alpina. Its small lake, its mountain pastures and its wild fauna make it the ideal place for a restful stopover.
Description
During the guarding period: access to a hors sac area.
In the heart of the Vanoise National Park, bivouacs are only permitted during the summer months on dedicated sites in the immediate vicinity of the refuge, during the guarding period. We advise you to reserve your pitch in advance with the refuge.
Outside the guarding period, the refuge is open and provides a dormitory, blankets, heating and cooking equipment and crockery.

- Col de Pierre (4h round trip, 400m of difference in altitude in off-trail itinerary).
Day hike :
- Pointe de Charbonnier (6h30 round trip - 800m of difference in altitude off trail for good walkers).
