Welcome to the Lo Tsamou refuge, (the Chamois in patois). Perched at 2060m, it is ideal for a relaxing stopover in the middle of its flora and fauna. Splendid goal for a walk (1h to 1h15 walk), and starting point for many hikes.

Description

Surrounded by woods, old stone buildings, and antique objects, Joseph and Lola welcome you all summer long for a gourmet break or to quench your thirst on the terrace while taking in a 360° view and savoring local specialties: cheeses, cold cuts, or Savoyard specialties like Matouille (fondue with Tomme cheese, potatoes, and cold cuts), venison steak... And if it’s time for a snack: crêpes, tarts (with wild rhubarb, for example), real hot chocolate…

Come spend an unforgettable night with your children (Family-Friendly Lodge certification), friends, or family and host an Olympics: stilts, balance skis, tug-of-war, giant skittles, wheelbarrow races, ring toss, and log-sawing with a handsaw…

Easy access from Bramans: head toward St-Pierre d’Extravache on RD 100 (5 km), stop at the chapel parking lot. Continue on foot along the path marked “Lo Tsamou” to Montbas. Alpine pasture with no patous.
