The History Trail - Lanslevillard Chapel Tour

This large outdoor museum takes the form of an itinerary from chapel to chapel, with themed exhibitions. Armed with your key, you can explore these paths at your own pace, discovering the life of the village of Lanslevillard.

Description

Les chemins de l'Histoire bears witness to the religious fervor of the mountain communities of Lanslevillard and Haute Maurienne. It takes the form of a discovery itinerary through the village's 10 restored and refurbished chapels, each featuring a thematic exhibition on fresco and mural painting techniques, rock art and more. At the Espace Culturel St Roch, the hostess gives you a key to open the chapel doors. Take the tour at your own pace, as you please! (The key is loaned for one week).

Free access. Access to the interior of the chapels: key rental: 9 € (+ deposit of 30 €).
The booklet "Les Chemins de l'Histoire" is given with the key.
