On this tour, you'll discover an extraordinary diversity
of landscapes, as well as the flora and fauna of the Vanoise
National Park.
This itinerary is ideal for intermediate hikers, featuring long but moderately uneven stages.
Everyone will be delighted by the warm welcome and comfort of the mountain huts.

You must book your overnight stay at a mountain hut in advance. Stay on the trails, follow the signs, and take your trash with you.

2/ After the Vallonbrun refuge, you can hike up to the Pierre aux Pieds (rock engravings). Allow an additional 2 hours (one way). Take the balcony trail to Plan de la Cha. You’ll come across the Cuchet refuge (unmanned refuge; kitchen equipment and blankets available), which can serve as a stopover, depending on your starting point. Continue toward Pré Vaillant, then Turra de Termignon. The GR5 gradually reaches the Bellecombe parking lot, then the Plan du Lac refuge.
