Description Camping-caravaning Le Val d'Ambin - Onlycamp
The Val d'Ambin campsite is set in a quiet, spacious location overlooking the mountains. Located in the commune of Val-Cenis, between the villages of Bramans and Le Verney, it culminates at an altitude of over 1,250 m.
With 120 pitches over 100m², some of which are available for groups. There's always room if you're just passing through Haute-Maurienne-Vanoise, and the sun is rarely absent in this part of the Alps!
For your convenience, you'll find :
- Ice creams, drinks and basic necessities.
- Three washrooms with hot-water showers (two of which are handicapped-accessible), baby-changing facilities, laundry bins and washing-up sinks. Numerous outdoor water points available (except in winter).
- Laundry room with washing machine(€) and dryer(€), clothesline (only for chalets).
- Relaxation room with free wifi access, library, board games, hiking maps for Bramans and Haute-Maurienne-Vanoise.
- A children's playground with 4 play areas, a slide and a ping-pong table.
- Two tennis courts (€) and a grass volleyball/badminton court. A small lake for no-kill trout fishing.
- In winter, direct access to cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing.

Location
By road: from Chambéry follow Turin by the Fréjus Tunnel (A43), take the Sortie-30 Haute-Maurienne-Vanoise, then continue on the D1006 for 15km. Once in Bramans (Val-Cenis), go straight on and at the entrance to Bramans - Le Verney (Val-Cenis), turn right twice towards the church for 200m.
By train: Modane SNCF station, then cab or bus (Line M12) from Modane bus station to the Val-Cenis/Bramans-Le petit Paris stop.
